My parents treated the adult kids and our better halves to a fun time at the Heber Valley Camp. We spent Friday afternoon on the challenge course, and Saturday morning on the lake. Dinner, breakfast, and lunch were deeelish! Some of our adventures included card games, a hilarious campfire program, and a meaningful family discussion. Such a bummer that some of the adults weren't there, but it was awesome with those who could come. Thanks to Sam, Cathy, Matt, and Kelli for watching our older four kids while we played. THANKS Mom and Dad!!!! We had a blast! Can't wait till next year!

Pioneer Day in Idaho
We celebrated Pioneer Day in Idaho this year. We were in St. Anthony for a family reunion, and the town has a great parade. It's one of those fun, small-town parades where the firetrucks will shoot water and most of the parade entries throw candy. My kids had a blast standing in the road with their cousins, waiting for the next handful of candy to come their way.
Banana's 2nd Birthday!
Our cute little Banana turned 2! She is such a little monster sometimes, but we love her anyways. Instead of a cake, Blueberry had the great idea to make Dora cupcakes. I have never made a "theme" cake/cupcakes, so this was our first stab at something cute. The cupcakes looked like a frightened Dora, but they were fun to do - Apple and Octimus Prime helped me. And in the end, Banana had a great birthday.

Trip to Reno
Last Friday we met Chris' parents in Reno. They drove out from Salt Lake City and then took Apple, Blueberry, and Octimus Prime back with them on Saturday. My older kids will spend several weeks with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. They are going to have so much fun! The middle of July we will take the two little girls and go to Utah, and then after a week we will all come home. I'm bummed I didn't take any pictures of them swimming, only pictures in the hotel room. Well, some are better than none, right?
Goodbye to our friends!
Our wonderful friends the Hunts are moving to San Diego. We will miss them so much! Before they left we had them over for one last playdate. (I don't have a picture of Apple and her friend who are in the kitchen baking.) Such an awesome family!

Fresh out of the tubby/Apple's birthday
Apple turned 12 in May. I can't believe she is out of Primary and in Young Womens! Two of her friends came early on her birthday and "kidnapped" her. They dressed her in crazy clothes and fixed her hair crazy. Then Chris cooked breakfast for everyone before he took the older girls to school.
Below are pictures of Kiwi right after a tubby. Her hair is curly when it's wet, and it's so cute. Of course Banana has to be part of the action.
